Seven fucking years:

Seven years ago today, President Bush launched the Iraq war. In a televised address to the nation, Bush told the American people “at this hour American and coalition forces are in the early stages of military operations to disarm Iraq, to free its people and to defend the world from grave danger.” Over the last several years, ThinkProgress has been keeping a Timeline of the Iraq War, marking the key events in the U.S. invasion, occupation, and now ongoing withdrawal from the country.

Mission Accomplished, bitchez … except for all the people that keep dying.

Sean Hannity is an asshole who steals from dead vets. Die, you fuck!TV and radio hatecaster Sean ‘Squeaky’ Hannity likes to style himself as GI Joe’s most ardent supporter. Yes, of course it’s a joke. Everyone knows psychopathic narcissists like Squeaky are incapable of anything but non-stop abuse of any and all available resources to feed their relentless hunger for recognition.

So it was only a matter a time before Squeaky got close enough to a non-profit enterprise to loot it to fund his Caligulan impulses. What makes it doubly twisted is the fact that this charity is supposed to be distributing its funds to support the children of dead veterans and their survivors – but instead is being spent on shuttling Squeaky around in Gulfstream luxury jets and limousines.

It’s Tyranny Weekend, and Teabaggers are out in force to make sure the Kenyan Usurper doesn’t hand America over to the Good Samaritans Godless Commies:

People with ties to Glenn Beck’s 9-12 Project, Tea Party Boise and other conservative causes plan a protest outside Rep. Walt Minnick’s office this weekend, with the claim that the Idaho Democrat co-sponsored one of the health care bills that Congress is considering.

That’ll show him! Don’t let Walt Minnick sell you out!

Oh, and never mind that Minnick didn’t sponsor the healthcare bill, didn’t vote for the House version, and won’t vote for the revisions.

Virginia’s AG says he’ll sue if HCR passes:

You know, the one who told Virginia universities it was okay to discriminate against gay students? Or how he told Virginia residents that he thought he could challenge Obama’s presidency based on his birth place? Or how he said he wasn’t getting a Social Security number for his kid because it’s being “used to track you”? That’s the guy, freakishly right wing, birther numbskull Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.

So he’s got 1) birther credentials; 2) hatred of teh gayz; and 3) a tinfoil hat. Wonder if he’s a deather as well.

Virginia’s Wingnut AG Says He’ll Sue Federal Government if Health Care Reform Passes [Crooks & Liars]

Queen birther and California secretary of state candidate Orly Taitz not only owes the Fed $20,000, she might have the state bar after her: “The California bar has now begun to investigate the possibility of disciplinary action against Taitz.According to Talking Points Memo, “When Clay Land, the judge in the Georgia case, imposed the fine on Taitz in October, he also directed that a copy of his scathing 43-page order be sent to the California bar ‘for whatever use it deems appropriate.'” … “Mandela had to spend years in prison, fighting corruption in the government,” Taitz told Talking Points Memo in an email. “Responding to an inquiry from the bar is not that bad in comparison.” [RawStory]
