Is the colonel's underwear a matter of national security?

Not since the late, great, Potter Stewart have we so enjoyed the sweet mystery of jurisprudence:

Mr Lane was alleged to have been photographed placing his genitals on an army sergeant’s forehead — a practice the court defined as “teabagging” — while the sergeant was asleep.

It’s like laundering money — now that Australia’s High Court has entered “teabagging” into the public record, we can happily use the term on their authority, requiring only the proper citation to establish its provenance.

We think we're serious. You might recall Glenn Beck a few weeks ago pleading with his viewers not to take him seriously. You’ll certainly recall it when Beck puts the clip on permanent loop after someone takes a shot at Obama:

“If you watch MSNBC, I contend that you will see the future. They are laying the ground for a horrible event, that will be — it’s what they’re laying the ground for, anything from the Right, some awful event, and I fear this government, this administration has so much framework already prepared, that they will seize power overnight before anybody even gives it a second thought.”

240-government2This is cool – shows you political contributions that occur near votes favorable (and  unfavorable) to a piece of legislation.  Here’s frequent Douchebag of the Day Chuck Grassley.  Here’s everyone’s favorite hooker fucker David Vitter.  And, for shits and giggles, here’s my senator: The Schume* – it appears no one gives him money.

Yet another reason Al Gore invented the internets.

*to Schume means to take credit for something you had absolutely nothing to do with.

The Moran town hall was the last stop on a 10-city tour for Randall Terry, the anti-abortion activist known for his extreme tactics.

Terry’s colleagues put on a skit with a man in an Obama mask pretending to whip a bloodied woman, who kept saying, “Massa, don’t hit me no more. I got the money to kill the babies.”

Terry himself dressed in a doctor’s lab coat and pretended to stab a woman in a gray wig.

“There’s no way to pay for this thing without killing granny,” Terry explained.

There’s really nothing I can add to that.

george_w_bush_goofy_inside_out_umbrellaUpset that Obama hasn’t sent Cheney and his torture crew to The Hague?  Angry because we might not get a public option?  Calm yourselves, gentle snowflakes – things could be a lot worse:

Maybe you heard: George W. Bush stopped by Mustangs football practice this morning, where he told the team to “win one for Yom Kippur.”

I want video.  Now.
