DEVELOPING HARD: Geezer puts the brakes on in Minnesoda.

Quotable:  “I admire Sen. Obama and his accomplishments and I will respect him –” at which point the audience boos and he goes “no, no, I want everyone to be respectful…”

Guy in audience says that he’s scared of an Obama presidency.  McCain shoots back: “he is a decent person, and a person you do not have to be scared of as President of the United States.”  Cries of anguish from the audience.  Really.

And then a lady calls him an Arab, and Geezer actually grabs the microphone away and slams her.

Watch the video. He sounds sad and resigned to what the last week has been like, and knows that it is wrong to go down this path. Thus, please expect the Rev. Wright ad to go into heavy spin on Monday.

I really want to string together an appropriate amount of pungent profanity for this crap, but I just don’t have the strength. Brian Rogers, the Geezerplex’s designated stupid spokesperson of the day, said this, per TPM:

“Barack Obama’s attacks on Americans who support John McCain reveal far more about him than they do about John McCain. It is clear that Barack Obama just doesn’t understand regular people and the issues they care about. He dismisses hardworking middle class Americans as clinging to guns and religion, while at the same time attacking average Americans at McCain rallies who are angry at Washington, Wall Street and the status quo.

“Even worse, he attacks anyone who dares to question his readiness to serve as their commander in chief. Raising legitimate questions about his record, character and judgment are a vital part of the Democratic process, and Barack Obama’s effort to silence and shame those who seek answers should make everyone wonder exactly what he is hiding.”

“Terrorist! Traitor! Etc.!” = “raising legitimate questions about his record.” I give up.

There may be a simple reason the Talibunny sounds like an uninformed, airheaded fascist bimbo.

It may well be because she is clinically fucking stupid. Her high school SATs – in an unconfirmed document provided exclusively to Stinque – apparently confirm what everyone already knew: there is nothing between her ears but moose shit and dreams of Apocalypse.

Most people’s pets get better SAT scores than Sarah Palin (nee Heath) apparently got in high school in Wasilla. The scores from the Admissions Testing Program below tell the tale.

The top end of the SAT scale is 800. The young dewy Jesus-crazed and fuck-crazed Talibunny barely broke the SAT medians with scores of 425 and 416 in verbal and math examinations respectively.

However, those scores, weighted along a national performance curve don’t even qualify the Fuhrerette-in-Waiting for a place among the average. The Talibunny’s SAT results qualify her for a place among the top scorers of the bottom third percentile – yes, with vinyl siding salesman and crystal meth merchants.

Take a good long look at this picture:

I took it in 2003.

Now that you’ve had a look, go read Krugman.  If you already read it in the comments, read it again.

Read this — the whole thing.  For once, somebody shouting at the Geezer is actually making some sense.

John McCain: If your campaign does not stop equating Sen. Barack Obama with terrorism, questioning his patriotism and portraying Mr. Obama as “not one of us,” I accuse you of deliberately feeding the most unhinged elements of our society the red meat of hate, and therefore of potentially instigating violence.

At a Sarah Palin rally, someone called out, “Kill him!” At one of your rallies, someone called out, “Terrorist!” Neither was answered or denounced by you or your running mate, as the crowd laughed and cheered. At your campaign event Wednesday in Bethlehem, Pa., the crowd was seething with hatred for the Democratic nominee – an attitude encouraged in speeches there by you, your running mate, your wife and the local Republican chairman.

Shame!
