The Republican National Committee’s health insurance plan covers elective abortion – a procedure the party’s own platform calls “a fundamental assault on innocent human life.”

Federal Election Commission Records show the RNC purchases its insurance from Cigna. Two sales agents for the company said that the RNC’s policy covers elective abortion.

We of course applaud the RNC for providing choice to its employees, even if it would deny it to others. But if you’re going to snuff that bun in the oven, better schedule your appontment soon:

Twisted GOP pervert Blake Hall was a stalwart of Republican politics for decades in Idaho, steeped in the party’s traditions – which probably explains why the monstrous freak showed up at some sorry woman’s house and flung nearly dozens of used condoms on her lawn on ten separate occasions this year.

Hall’s GOP credentials weren’t enough to keep him out of jail, however, as the raging Republican pervert bragged eagerly in court Friday about hurling his condoms all over the lady’s lawn, a confession that returned a 15-day jail sentence – about 15 years short of justice but, hey, acting out like a sex-crazed orangutan is OK, probably expected, if you are a Republican, right?

The judge and the victim, a recently married 37-year old woman, didn’t see it that way. In fact, the victim, a former girlfriend of Hall’s, told the court, “I was so tired of being victimized,” the woman said. “It is unimaginable that a 56-year-old would be so deviant.”

Carrie Prejean wasn’t the only member of her family who got a peek at Carrie’s solo sex tape — TMZ has learned her MOM was in the room when the Miss California USA lawyers pressed play.

Sources tell TMZ Carrie’s mom was in shock — instantly turning sheet white as she watched her daughter give herself a hand.

As TMZ first reported, it took all of 15 seconds for Carrie to drop her $1 million demand from the Pageant people after the XXX tape was played.

Down in Louisiana, they’re getting serious about defending marriage:

A Louisiana justice of the peace said he refused to issue a marriage license to an interracial couple out of concern for any children the couple might have. Keith Bardwell, justice of the peace in Tangipahoa Parish, says it is his experience that most interracial marriages do not last long.

But don’t go calling Bardwell racist. “I do ceremonies for black couples right here in my house,” he says. “My main concern is for the children.”

And who can disagree? After all, one of them might grow up to be President.

Amanda Ross’s neighbors heard the screams of the slain woman as shots rang out across the Lexington, KY condominium where her gun-shot ridden body was found in the parking lot, setting off a man-hunt for the only conceivable suspect in the case, Kentucky GOP icon Steven Nunn who’d been ordered by a court to stay away from Ross after the judge found that he’d smashed her across the face at her home on February 17, 2009.

It is clear from the statements of Ross’s friends in the local rag that the 29 year old Ross lived in quaking fear of her former fiance Nunn, son of late Gov. Louie B. Nunn, former GOP state rep and failed candidate for governor in 2003, and that everyone in town knew of her mortal terror that he would again break the restraining order, having gone to the cops to complain of a breach this summer.
