“I’m kind of a Snooki fan. Look how tiny she’s gotten. She’s lost weight. She’s energetic. Just her spark-plug personality is kind of fun.” —Mitt Romney, making his case for why Americans should despise him forever. [WaPo, via Political Wire]

“Mitt Romney is promising to reduce taxes on middle-income Americans. But how does he define ‘middle-income’? The Republican presidential nominee defined it Friday as income of $200,000 to $250,000 a year and less.” Median household income is around $50,000. [AP, via Political Wire]

The map above is an alternative analysis of the electoral vote standing for this presidential race done for QstarNews.com by the author of this article. The methodology for this particular map is quite simple. For each state, the polling data listed for that state at Real Clear Politics is viewed, and when obviously skewed media polls are removed, the remaining credible polls are averaged. If that average shows Obama at 50.1 percent or better, that state is shaded blue for Obama. Any result below that for Obama, and the state is shaded red for Romney. This reflects just about all the undecided vote going to Romney by the time voters cast their ballots in the actual election.

The quote in Fox Nation’s embedded Fox News video:

Mr. Obama, calling Libya’s president to thank him for his condolences for the American lives lost.

When they start quoting their own stories out of context, you know we’re in trouble.

“He singled out New York Times polling blogger Nate Silver — whose predictive model currently [gives] Obama an 80 percent chance of re-election — as a left-leaning journalist who is churning out questionable analysis with partisan motives.” —An unnamed Romney adviser, signaling to supporters where to direct their ire.
