Salmon Caesar Salad turned out OK:

A restauranteur I know told me to toast the bread before making croutons.

The ingredients.

Garlic in hot olive oil.

Croutons underway – you can cook them even a day ahead.

Salmon seared.

Skin side down – you can cook the fish ahead as well as it’s got to cool before you put it on the salad.

GF brought her laptop home, so I just punched up the recipe on it.

And there it is – I elected to crumble the fish into it instead of laying a big piece on the top.


Looks great, and perfect for a warm evening.
