scrutinizerThis is Wendy Long.  She runs something called the Judicial Confirmation Network.  She used to clerk for everyone’s favorite judicial sociopath, Clarence Thomas.  And now that Obama gets to put someone on the Supreme Court, she’s having a tantrum.

The current Supreme Court is a liberal, judicial activist court. Obama could make it even more of a far-left judicial activist court, for a long time to come, if he appoints radicals like Diane Wood, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan. A new Justice in this mold would just entrench a bad majority for a long time.

I do not think that word means what Wendy thinks it means.

We’ve often expressed our gratitude for WorldNetDaily, which boldly goes where Drudge fears to tread, and spares us the trouble of cruising dozens of wingnut websites. But lately we’ve noticed they’ve been letting us down, with hysterical stories not even remotely relevant to the issues of the day. (Trust us, Joe, the Fairness Doctrine is a non-starter.) It’s hard to play fearmonger when the nation is increasingly confident about itself.
