Gallup Poll: Rural Whites Prefer Ahmadinejad to Obama

TEHRAN (FNA)- According to the results of a Gallup poll released Monday, the overwhelming majority of rural white Americans said they would rather vote for Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad than US President Barack Obama.

“I like him better,” said West Virginia resident Dale Swiderski, who, along with 77 percent of rural Caucasian voters, confirmed he would much rather go to a baseball game or have a drink with Ahmadinejad than spend time with Obama.

“He takes national defense seriously, and he’d never let some gay protesters tell him how to run his country like Obama does.”

According to the same Gallup poll, 60 percent of rural whites said they at least respected that Ahmadinejad doesn’t try to hide the fact that he’s Muslim.

By a strange coincidence, the FNA story is almost a word-for-word reprint from America’s Finest News Source.

Apparently FNA found out they’d been had: “Error For Your Request . Not Exist This Story.”

@blogenfreude: Guess I woke up just in time…

Well: If you compare what I reprinted here from FNA with the original, you’ll notice that they omitted one line.

There’s a Poe’s Law cliff that’s been well cleared here – I suspect the average “values voter” could totally support the guy who said this recently:

I’m sorry, Let me ask you this: Do you believe anyone is given birth to through homosexuality? Homosexuality ceases procreation. Who has said that if you like or believe in doing something ugly and others do not accept your behavior, they’re denying your freedom? Who says that? Perhaps in a country they wish to legitimize stealing?

Certainly wouldn’t have been out of place at the Values Voter Summit, as long as nobody brought up the “so which imaginary friend have YOU surrendered your capacity for rationality and decency to?” question.

@al2o3cr:

World population when I was born: 3,000,544,325

World population today: 7,042,285,215

That’s my gut response to the procreation argument: It’s not like cutting down on breeders is making much of a difference.

@nojo: and gay and lesbian couples often adopt children that society would otherwise discard.

It’s like Fox News created an Iranian bureau.
