One of These Things is Not Like the Other

Look closely, children. One of these things is the totally awesome new MacBook Pro with bitchin’ Retina Display. The other is not.

Can you tell the difference?

The Mona Lisa is a little blurry when you look up close. Unacceptable.

@nojo: The picture’s a little small. Full-size you can see La Joconde on the screens of the iPhones. It’s extremely artistic.

@Benedick: I was watching a replay of the Apple keynote yesterday — because that’s what I do — and the moment somebody walks onstage, dozens of iPhones are raised from the audience to shoot video. The sea of glowing screens in the darkened hall was touching. Or frightening. I haven’t decided.

@blogenfreude: That’s a lovely thing. It’s impossible to get near the Leonardo. A lot of the museum is behind what looks like bullet-proof glass. But still I was overwhelmed by how gorgeous it all is. Can’t wait to go back.

@nojo: Did the keynote happen to mention the workers who assembled those glowing screens? I guess collateral damage is okay if it’s kept safely out of sight.

@blogenfreude: I love sitting on the bench just across the way, gazing at her and spacing out. Next time I’m down that way I’ll pay her a visit for you.

Come on now, it’s the MacBookPro, hands down.
What a seductive video they put out – – maybe I’m too easy.

@BobCens: maybe I’m too easy That is what I’ve heard.

@mellbell: nice that you can sometimes spend 5 minutes alone in that room before someone else shows up.

@Dave H: Did the keynote happen to mention the workers who assembled those glowing screens?

No. Nor did it mention the performance artist who lied about them.
