The future ain’t what it used to be.
A fellah could make a good living selling Bible based Doomstday conspiracy theories. Plenty of people do. The succeptibililty of the credulous to numerological nonsense makes it all too easy: There are seven letters in Isaiah, just as there are seven letters in Barack. Was the Bible trying to warn us of our current president through the prophesies of Isaish? It’s like the Kennedy/Lincoln assasination “co-incidences”: Kennedy was shot while riding in a Lincoln, Lincoln was shot while attending a play about the Cuban Missile Crisis, etc.
