How long before Discovery Channel turns it into a reality show about the crab boats that catch them or turn it into a scientific farce about alien crabs from Space?

This one apparently escaped from Talibunny’s pubies during a summer swim last year to celebrate the release of her last book.

@ManchuCandidate: I would totally watch that show – my TIVO has a couple Deadliest Catch shows waiting for me.

It looks like the huge spider in the Jonny Quest opening.

And I want to know … what sort of crab cake would this thing make? A little chopped celery, a little Old Bay ….

@blogenfreude:
Might not taste all that great. The smaller crabs are better.

My mom once cooked an entire Alaskan King Crab. The legs tasted great. The body? Even my dad (who loved Uni (aka Sea Urchin) and Sea Cucumber) couldn’t stand it.

@ManchuCandidate: Now that I think of it you’re right – best MD crabs I’ve had have been little ones. Maybe the giants can be repurposed into croquettes?

That’s a lot of Scabene®.

@FlyingChainSaw: Darn you! ;-)

TJ/ Yo-Ho-Ho me hearties.

Greetings from the other side of the dateline where the sun is going down on “International Talk Like a Pirate Day”
