We loved you. So did Jack Thomas.

@Benedick: I had to look that one up. Very good.

To this day, I associate smoking and fitness because of my mom’s dedication to both for weight loss.

I hope somebody swims across a river with his casket tied to their ankle, because that is what Jack would have wanted.

@Benedick: I started the day looking at Jack’s weenie and now I’m waiting for a train to Newark. Not sure where this day is going.

@Dodgerblue: @nojo: I make it my life’s work to bring to the attention of str8 (and ‘questioning’) men some of the rich and vibrant, though almost entirely hidden, history of my people.

Jack was one of our heroes. He thought he was immortal, too, and did not put his weenie on display anything like enough (that is not English but whatevs). Let us take a moment to remember him naked on a hillside in CA with his lover on an afternoon in June when he thought happiness was a condition of life (I am now officially pulling stuff out of my ass). Carpe diem, big guy. Let’s hope Jack T’s around to show you where the lockers are and get you a discount on power bars.

Oh, and does this mean I can now skip gym?

I will never see Jack Quite the same way after seeing Beefcake. the wonderful pseudo documentary on Bob Mizner and his stable of pretty boys that he photographed.

highly recommend that movie by the way.

@TJ/ Jamie Sommers /TJ: My avatar is Jack posing naked with his lover back in the day. My little tribute to the man who gave us pecs and, in my case, abs like steel.

@Benedick: Oh. I didn’t know he was gay; I just thought he was French.

@Benedick: I played Sport for many years and never saw anyone with a chest-to-waist ratio like Jack had.

@Dodgerblue: I assume you speak only of male athletes?
