I Picked the Right Week to Lie About My Vietnam Experience

Michelle Malkin on the GOP Crapweasel Club: “Yep, it’s time again for my upside-down elephant again. Just when CT Democrat Attorney General Richard Blumenthal’s Vietnam fables should be front and center political news, here’s a creepy Republican to steal the ignominious spotlight… Seriously, can these losers stop yammering about God when they’re caught?”

“Seriously, can these losers stop yammering about God when they’re caught?”

I never in a million years thought the following words would escape my mouth, but here goes: I agree with Michelle Malkin. (only that one sentence)

@SanFranLefty: That’s the annoying thing about Malkin — she can be honest on occasion. She loves to pile on as much as anyone, but she will pause for a fact check now and then.

Moments in History, May 18, 2010: The Day SFL (and Pedo) agreed with Michelle Malkin.

Though I would add, “can those losers stop yammering about God before, during and after they’re caught?” (I am studiously avoiding the Talk about Death; I like the post, but if I joined in the comments it wouldn’t be long before I’d be accused of trying to Organize the Atheists.)

@PedonatorUSA: Organized Atheism repeats the mistakes of Organized Religion, with none of the benefits. For one thing, I never want to hear Dawkins singing a humanist hymn.

I dunno if I’m considered a part of organized atheism by loving this show, but The Atheism Tapes were rescued from the cutting room floor of Jonathan Miller’s Atheism: A Rough History of Disbelief and reassembled to be more interesting than the original series, IMHO.

@SanFranLefty: At 2:09 PM PDT, So did Cynica. Where are my iceskates?
@PedonatorUSA: I would just end the question with the word “God”. I respect one’s right to believe whatever one wants, but Oh Do Shut Up.
@nojo: No joke. He lost me completely with “brights”. Being a “bright” sounds incredibly stupid.

@Mistress Cynica: He lost me completely with “brights”. Being a “bright” sounds incredibly stupid. Not to mention smug, vain and self-satisfied.

@Mistress Cynica: Also, Martin Sheen chewing the scenery by chewing out God in Latin remains one of the best West Wing moments ever.

@Benedick: Well, that goes without saying. He is a Brit after all.

@nojo: That and the evisceration by Scripture of the “Dr Laura” character.

Oh silly MM. Don’t you know that Sexytime > Playing War?
