You Saw the Farce, Now Read the Book

Title: “Right Now: A 12-Step Program For Defeating The Obama Agenda”

Author: Michael Steele; foreword by Newt Gingrich

Rank: 403

Blurb: “Setting aside appeals for caution in taking on a popular president, Steele throws down the gauntlet, insisting Republicans must expose and refute the policies lying at the heart of this administration’s attempts to resurrect a discredited brand of extreme liberalism.”

Review: “Steele’s book not only changed the way I look at politics, it changed that way I look at facts.”

Customers Also Bought: “Courage and Consequence,” by Karl Rove

Footnote: A week of headline publicity (never mind the previous year), and he can’t even crack the Amazon Top 400? Although we’ll give him this: We were expecting four digits, not three.

Holy crap, NOJO… did you read the comments on the ironic review you quoted from? They’re from GOP supporters who appear to believe the review is on the up and up, and who agree with him that the GOP has become “too liberal.”

It’s the famous “Colbert is one of us” syndrome that affects GOP simpletons who just can’t spot it when they’re being mocked.

@Serolf Divad: When have they ever looked at facts? Or even acknowledged them?

Step 1: Just say NO to Barry
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Blow the GOP’s money on a lousy website to get the kids interested in the GOP successes whatever they may be. Iraq????
Step 4: Go on the media and make myself look like an ass.
Step 5: Drain the GOP’s money on inconsequential elections while ignoring the big picture
Step 6: Be friends with Teabaggers
Step 8: ????????
Step 9: “Brother Still Here”
Step 10: Where’s Step 7?
Step 11: Seriously, where’s step 7?
Step 12: win?

@Serolf Divad: I personally liked the one that called 42 “George W. Roosevelt”.

@ManchuCandidate:

Perhaps the missing step 7 is “Give Rush a rimjob”. That’s gotta be on there *somewhere*!
