The Stench of FAIL

douchetastic!How could anything possibly go wrong?

Pundit Tucker Carlson publicly announced Tuesday that a right-leaning news site resembling the Huffington Post he’s been planning will go live within weeks.

Carlson will launch TheDailyCaller.com, which he said would focus on reporting on the Obama administration and “adding facts to the conversation.”

“We are a general-interest newspaper-format style site,” Carlson told conservative bloggers at the Heritage Foundation on Tuesday. “There just aren’t enough people covering this administration and telling the people what’s going on.”

I need only remind you of this for you to know why Fucker Carlson will FAIL:

How long before the TheDailyCaller turns into a website for leather daddies?

I’m betting six months.

@ManchuCandidate: Do your best with Frank Zappa’s “Bow Tie Daddy”, Manchu.

I couldn’t watch more than a minute and a half of that. I was starting to feel sorry for him.

Loved her top, though. It made her bewbies look extra bouncy. A shame they made Tucker wear his own clothes.

Hahaha “adding facts to the conversation.” is priceless. Hey Fucker, crap you just made up is not “facts”, please get out of the conversation and let the adults discuss things. Plus did he forget about Drudge? If being a low-rent version of Limbaugh wasn’t working out, what the hell makes him think all that the internet was missing was his opinion?

Actually, Carlson’s intent here is almost noble. You may all recall that some time ago Carlson was booed for claiming that the New York Times reporting was generally “accurate.” In effect, Carlson was saying that your typical right-wing rag could give two shits about the facts if the facts stand in the way of promoting the party line. And as we all know, that’s absolutely right. There really isn’t a “conservative” publication either in print or on the web that’s anything other than a bald faced propaganda outlet. So my suspicion is that Carlson is trying to create a right-of-center news source that is scrupulous in its reporting and which generally “gets its fact right” in the stories it publishes.

Not that I have any faith that Carlson or any other conservative could actually pull this off, mind you. The one thing that Grover Norquist has ever been right about in his life is that liberal reporters are journalists first and liberals second, whereas conservative reporters are conservatives first and journalists second. Conservatives just can’t help themselves when it comes to putting objectively deceptive spin on a topic.

@Serolf Divad:

Isn’t the Associated Press enough?

Carlson is trying to create a right-of-center news source that is scrupulous in its reporting and which generally “gets its fact right” in the stories it publishes.

I just have so many uses for that bow-tie that Tucker may not (or may) want to contemplate…

@Nabisco:
I don’t know that tune. I’ll have to listen to it to get a feel for the words and melody.

There just aren’t enough people covering this administration? I’m sorry? He’s talking about the Obama administration, right? The one where untold column inches have been dedicated to his every waking moment?
