What Is A Bomb, Anyway?

Per pinko commie slime merchants over at NBC, this tidbit:

Palin resisted the suggestion that if Ayers was a “domestic terrorist” — a standard line in her campaign addresses — then so were conservative religious activists who bombed abortion clinics.

“I don’t know if you’re going to use the word ‘terrorist’ there,” she said. “It’s unacceptable, and it would not be condoned, of course, on our watch. But if what you’re asking is if I regret referring to Bill Ayers as an unrepenting domestic terrorist, I don’t regret characterizing him as that.”

The video is, of course, worse. Brian Williams asks about abortion clinic bombers. (Also known as: “terrorists, for Pete’s sake.”) First words out of her mouth: Ayers this, but also, Ayers that.

(Of course, terrorism isn’t a crime where the “health” of the bomber is a mitigating factor. Thanks, liberals!)

Death to abortion clinic bombers.

So, it’s only terrorism when they’re trying to bomb our nation’s capitol, or our Pentagon, or innocent Americans? I guess that means all you unbaptized suckers can’t possibly be victims of terrorism. Buh-bye! (Ah shit, that includes me too. Sigh)

@IanJ: When the Jeebus-voice in your head tells you to bomb an abortion clinic it’s not terrorism – think of all the Blastocyst-Americans you’re saving!

Was this from her major policy speech? I’m having a hard time keeping up with the Palindrone 3000.

Meanwhile, Randy Scheunemann (Geezerplex foreign policy czar) needs a nap.

“Just read your post. This is on the record. This is cleared by HQ. It is a fact that Barack Obama was palling around with terrorists. It was a fact before Governor Palin said it in a fully vetted speech and it is fact today. It is bullshit to claim or write anything else.”

Ooooh. Language! Do you kiss Karl Rove’s dick woo-woo with that mouth?

ADD: Who’s next to go losing-sports-team-coach on us here? Schmidt? Pfotenhauer? The Geezer himself? Someone else?

It’s very simple. It’s not terrorism when bombers target abortion clinics the same way it’s not illegal when the government tortures brown people. Two sides of the same coin, such as.

Even more classic, however, was her rejection of the feminist label, followed by something along the lines of “I’m not going to label different parts of the country.” You could almost see the gears turning as she remembered last week’s “pro-America areas” nonsense and shifted back to talking about feminism so fast it’ll make your head spin.

Well, on the last one, given her freedom fighter sympathies with Alaskan Independence Party, I wonder is she would call Timothy McVeigh and the Montana militia “domestic terrorists.”

@SanFranLefty: Talibunny will be out there with the rest of the “True Americans” shooting down those black helicopters when the UN decides to take over US-America.

She’ll be just like Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan fighting off them Russkie invaders with shoulder launched anti-aircraft missiles and irregular troops laying ambushes against occupier patrols.

Oh wait, the lines are blurring again…..

@mellbell: And yet — as Jon Stewart helpfully pointed out — Talibunny was happy to call herself a “feminist” when Katie Couric asked. Guess the rules are different when you’re not pandering to baseball teams.

@SanFranLefty: No, I think they were just, as you said, freedom fighters. Clearly it’s not terrorism if it’s working to make the government smaller and more efficient, right? Oh wait…
