We haven’t been watching the hearings because we saw it the first time, and, well, for us the question is whether they have any effect on general perception. So when our Twitter timeline lit up Thursday night with Running Man gags, we knew something extraordinary had happened.

Making fun of a chickenshit senator from Missouri won’t change the direction of the Republic — or whether we even have one in a few years — but since our government so far seems intent of making sure nobody powerful faces consequences for their treasonous actions, we’ll have to settle for imagining the hours we could have spent cutting that hallway clip into the corner just right.
