The Turdblossoms Are Coming In Early This Year

“Karl Rove told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly on Thursday that President Obama won re-election ‘by suppressing the vote’ with negative campaign ads that ‘turned off’ potential voters, citing a victory that carried a smaller percentage of the popular vote compared to that of the 2008 presidential race.” [TPM]

Huh, I heard Mitt Romney suppressed his own vote by being a lying douchenozzle.

More like Turdblossoms coming home to roost. The more he lies, the worse it is going to get for him.

Rove lost 400 million dollars of ultra rich ultra right wing people money for absolutely nothing.

I’m still waiting for “Mitt got Swiftboated by the Bain ads.”

@ManchuCandidate: If Karl wants to throw away 2016 and 2020, I’m all for it.

Problem remains with off-year elections. 2014 might be, like 2010, the Old People’s Revenge.

@nojo:
Probably. They’re going to go crazier after this.

They’ll be back. I don’t know how they’ll do it, but like the monsters in a horror movie, they’ll be back.

Karl should watch his back. The 1% don’t like it when someone flushes their money down the drain.

@BobCens: Can’t remember who said it, but the gist of it is that Karl Rove isn’t a political strategist, he’s a snakeoil salesman to misanthropic, hateful, greed-crazed billionaires and just grifting them for every cent.

Don’t forget that “vulture capitalism” started in their own house.

Quote of election cycle: “Is this just math that you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better, or is it real?” [Megyn Kelly to Karl Rove]

@¡Andrew!: That would have been your Flying Chainsaw character.

@coolg: Bought and paid for by that Sheldon dude who went on to work for Mitt. Proving the larger point (made earlier this week on the Daily Show in the student council election): consultants are paid to create the mess, somebody else cleans it up.

@LuxMentis: Thanks for enshrining this Megyn Kelly quote in the comments. I have never actually listened to her but hear about her on various liberal blogs. This question of hers makes me wonder if she isn’t quite a bit smarter than I’d have given her credit for.
