Count Judges Not, Lest Ye Be Judged

Rick Perry fails Schoolhouse Rock: “For Washington to tell a local school district that you cannot have a prayer and a time of prayer in that school is, I think, offensive to most Americans. I trust the people of the states to make those decisions. I trust those independent school districts to make those decisions better than eight unelected, and frankly, unaccountable judges.” [ABC, via TPM]

Like most of us, he doesn’t consider Clarence Thomas a judge.

But he does include that activist justice Montemayor (or did he mean Monte Mayor – we may never know).

They’re un-elected because that’s how it’s set up in the Constitution. I guess being a Teatard gives you the right to shit all over the Constitution.

Every time this whole “war on Jeebus” crap starts up, I wish some school official in flyover country would decide to lead their class in a prayer to Allah. Properly harnessed, the energy released from that many RW loons pulling a sharp 180 could power the country… ;)

@al2o3cr: Ha!

Hey — Got my autographed copy of Goodnight Keith Moon. Bruce couldn’t bring himself to write, “To JNOV, Who Loved The Who until Pete Got into Kiddie Porn for Research, such as,” but he came close.

Several days later, I finally think up a corny comeback: “Nine! Nine! Nine!” replied Herman Cain[!].
