While Ventura often brags about his SEAL background and some of his exploits while training in the Philippines as a member of Underwater Demolition Team 12, he refused to say what he did to earn his Vietnam Service Medal. He also refused to reveal which platoon and which detachments he was in within UDT 12 — information that would allow reporters to find out about his missions in public documents.
“You don’t have a right to know about the teams,” he told the Pioneer Press.

Breaking news; the dachshund is playing with the puppy!!! This is a first. Unfortunately it involves a lot of loud barking but I don’t care. All four of them are in my study with me and the three big dogs are now all playing Kill the Pug.
There are days when I think he’s the original teabagger. (Teabagging may have been a wrasslin’ move of his. In many ways, it is a wrasslin’ move to this day.)
There are days when I realize that Jesse Ventura would be totally unwelcome in the Tea Party, in that while he is certainly no friend of big government, he doesn’t think that the government is an evil monstrosity and can be used for good.
And then there are days when I think that Jesse Ventura is totally insane.
I’m going for Option C today.
Did not know about the war record thing – I think from now on, I’ll refer to ex-Gov. Ventura as “Wendell X”. ;)
To be fair to Janos, these documents won’t make sense to the Teabaggers anyway… like Otto the Assassin from “A Fish Called Wanda.”
