Massive Conspiracy Topples Glenn Beck Program

Our guest columnist is Glenn Beck’s flack.

Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts, Glenn Beck’s production company, are proud to announce that they will work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News’ digital properties. Glenn intends to transition off of his daily program, the third highest rated in all of cable news, later this year.

Roger Ailes, Chairman and CEO of Fox News said, “Glenn Beck is a powerful communicator, a creative entrepreneur and a true success by anybody’s standards. I look forward to continuing to work with him. ”

Glenn Beck said: “I truly believe that America owes a lot to Roger Ailes and Fox News. I cannot repay Roger for the lessons I’ve learned and will continue to learn from him and I look forward to starting this new phase of our partnership.”

Joel Cheatwood, SVP/Development at Fox News, will be joining Mercury Radio Arts effective April 24, 2011. Part of his role as EVP will be to manage the partnership and serve as a liaison with the Fox News Channel.

Roger Ailes said: “Joel is a good friend and one of the most talented and creative executives in the business. Over the past four years I have consistently valued his input and advice and that will not stop as we work with him in his new role.”

“Glenn Beck” is consistently the third highest rated program on cable news.

For the 27 months that “Glenn Beck” has aired on Fox News, the program has averaged more than 2.2 million total viewers and 563,000 viewers 25-54 years old, numbers normally associated with shows airing in primetime, not at 5pm. “Glenn Beck” has dominated all of its cable news competitors since launch.

Like Roger Aisles I too love Glenn and wish him nothing but the best as he transitions to lead his new life as the woman God intended him to be. As Ms Beck, Glenn will do much to raise public awareness of transitioning problems and will be rebranding himself as Glenda just as soon as the estrogen therapy enables him to grow a pair of tits.

His fondest ambition once his transition is complete is to join with Bristol Palin to become one half of the first lesbian team on Dancing With the Stars.

Speaking of hopelessly unqualified Republican shills, I give you yet another example of the naked cronyism Gov. Walker seems to be going with:

Son of major Republican donor demoted

In short, the Walker administration decided to appoint a 27-year-old without a degree (but *with* some DUIs!) to head up the environmental and regulatory affairs section at the Dept. of Commerce. The other two candidates, who weren’t even interviewed? The person who’d held the gig for the last 8 years, and a PhD who served on the previous Republican governor’s cabinet and has 8 years of experience overseeing environmental cleanup. But those qualifications pale in the light of the new kid’s – his daddy’s trade group donated $120k+ to Walker’s campaign…

I blame the chalkboard and tinfoil makers of US America for all this.

Is that a picture of the Singing Villagers rehearsing for Palin: The Musical? Or is it the cast of Spiderman?

Glenn will cry, but only because he cares.

What can Beck be up to? A suggestion. What with small local television and radio stations venerable to loss because of federal support to Public stations, perhaps Beck is thinking of doing what Dallas based Daystar has been doing.

Daystar, television’s Religious Money Solicitation Company, buys up small PBS stations to add to its network.
Now I don’t have an inside to Beck’s plan, but if he is the goat-gland salesman I think he is, then surely he has thought about this.

Glenn’s flack actually used the term “off of.” Then again, why would I expect something as simple as a well-written press release?

@Benedick is not as stupid as he looks: I believe you’ve insulted both women as a whole and lesbians in particular by associating them with Beck.

@texrednface: I too mourned the loss of Channel 2 KDTN to the Christian Prosperity Inheritors. That’s what I deserved for not watching it more often.

no worries, mom, i’m going to behave.

@al2o3cr: I found this sentence interesting:”Walker is planning to convert the Department of Commerce to a public-private hybrid in charge of attracting and retaining businesses”

My own Great State of Disrepair has a similar scheme called the Texas Emerging Technologies Fund, aka Governor Rick Perry’s Slush Fund.
Perry appointed the under qualified to run the scheme, suck on the public teat while making under table deals to enrich himself. “Man with checkered financial history profited on private deals while running Texas Emerging Technology Fund”

His qualifications. He was an entrepreneur , he had a short-lived company repairing cracked windshields

@Tommmcatt is with Karin Marie on This One: You read what’s left of my mind.

@baked: I know you will, darling, or I will shred your self-esteem. You haven’t forgotten your prom?
