Sure, that’s sensible but will they keep them drawn and off safety at all times, you know, in case of a surprise attack.

I just figured out from a chat he did online a few minutes ago that I’ve met Daniel Hernandez before. He was one of the people wrangling volunteers for the AG candidate I was working for last year. I’m surprised I didn’t make the connection before; he was one of the few really genuine people I’ve met in politics.

@FlyingChainSaw: The booger hook will always be on the bang switch.
Think what this will do for C-SPAN’s ratings.

OK. SO it’s not an honest-to-God pants down airport sex scandal. But it has teenagers and Scott Lively going for it. And a holy coffee shop handing out grande lattes for free.

@Mistress Cynica: Great things I am sure. On a slow news day, all a TV news producer need do is send an IM to a teabagger congressmen accusing another congressman of saying he likes public health care or the National Endowment for the Arts or something and, blam, blam, blam, blam, blam, he’s got a leader for the evening news broadcast.

@Benedick:

“I invite God to touch them and he does.”

I seriously hope he doesn’t have a prison tattoo of “God” ANYWHERE on his body. In any case, that’s about the creepiest goddamn thing I’ve read in a while.

On topic, of course they need guns on the floor. How else will the decrepit bunch the GOP call “representatives” reenact one of their favorite legislative moments from the founding of the Confederacy? I suppose they could try to get Rand Paul to do the beating, but he’d probably insist on subbing it out to “private enterprise”.

Meanwhile, Palin’s doing Hannity on Monday. Or Hannity’s doing Palin. Same diff.

So will there be a “Buy American” provision in the bill? Some foreign makers like FN and Beretta USA have US production lines, but Glock and CZ to name two, would be SOL. If I had to pick only US American, I’d go with Ruger over Smith & Wesson or Colt.

@al2o3cr: Thought that said “I invite God to touch dem hoes.”
