You Know You’ve Made It When Websites Are Devoted to Your Rumored Problems

Welcome to the Big Leagues, Mr. Speaker-in-Waiting!

While it’s impossible to know, some are beginning to speculate that Boehner’s penchant for turning on the waterworks might have some connection to his consumption of wine. Liberal MSNBC host Ed Shultz, half-jokingly, called Boehner a “cheap drunk” the other day, Capitol Hill aides of both parties are wondering, and there’s even a web page devoted to it.

Finally, something to obsess over besides birth certificates.

Oh yeah yeah yeah

Now if there’s a tan on my face
It’s only there trying to fool the public
But when it comes down to fooling you
Now honey that’s quite a different subject
But don’t let my sad expression
Give you the wrong impression
Really I’m bad, oh I’m badder than bad
I’m sober and I’m hurtin’ so bad
Like a kid I pretend to be sad

Now most pathetic thing known to man
But ain’t too much sadder than
The tears of a clown, when the cameras are around
Uh hum, oh yeah baby

Dipshit Birther Colonel gets six months in a military prison and dismissed from the service for being, well, stupid.

Here’s an interesting blog entry by a songwriter on the theft of copyrighted materials. Apparently there is a thriving community that ‘trades’ sheet music. Jason Robert Brown takes it to task.

@Benedick: That’s odd. I don’t see “fake book” anywhere in the post. Must be a jazz thang.

@nojo: Fake books that I know are published and clearances are obtained. In the jazz world they’re mostly just one chorus and often only give chord progressions. Of course there are illegal ones but they don’t do the same kind of damage that pirated sheet music does.

i doubted that boehner was a linebacker anywhere, so i googled. turns out he played for gerry faust at moeller high school in cincinnati. he actually played and moeller is a powerhouse. faust however sucked at notre dame later on. since faust praised boehner and faust sucked, then logically so does boehner. for non football fans, you just have to accept this reasoning. it is used alot to determine who is the better among two teams if the two never played each other. also, the worst offensive line man to ever play for the tennessee volunteers, michael munoz (son of anthony, believe it or not) also played at moeller. michael arrived at UT as one of the top ranked offensive (his play was mighty offensive) lineman in the country and didn’t even get drafted by the nfl after his alleged playing days were fortunately over on rocky top. he said it was gods plan that he didn’t get drafted (really) and then went into republican’t politics in the southern ohio area. see how this shit works out.

@ManchuCandidate: every military person i talked to here in tennessee, right wingers all, agreed that the colonel was a moron for refusing a direct order and deserved punishment.

tears of a clown, huh? good cover. it has always been one of my favorites. a smokey robinson classic i believe.
