Republicans Still Hate the Man in Charge

“We have a constitutional remedy,” Broden said then. “And the Framers say if that don’t work, revolution.”

That’s GOP House candidate Stephen Broden, running in a luckily heavily democratic District, making his willingness for violent overthrow of the government known.  After his interviewer pressed him on whether the option of violent revolution was still in play, he said:

The option is on the table. I don’t think that we should remove anything from the table as it relates to our liberties and our freedoms.

This warmonger is, of course, a pastor by profession. It’s a good thing our country’s Republican leaders don’t actually like to fight in wars, and are too busy manning up for the Texas Air National Guard, popping out a little Elizabeth Cheney 9 months and 2 days after married men without children become eligible for service, or being disqualified from service because they have/are Limbaugh-sized anal cysts. Thus, Broden was quickly condemned by the Dallas County GOP for being “inappropriate”.

Note to the GOP:  inappropriate is a loose fart when you’re meeting the Libyan Ambassador; talking about violent overthrow of your government while running for office from the Party that made America the shitsack it is today is fucking inexcusable.

So let me get this straight:
It’s okay for GOPers to allow a preznit to run amok, enact laws that put the world’s economy on the edge of collapse, to start an unnecessary war, to bungle another war, to put all the costs of said war (including human ones) off the books, to politicize federal depts that normally weren’t politicized and if you criticize one element of that you’re considered a cheese eating surrender monkey, but if you lead while black and give a half assed health insurance plan then it’s “Give me libertoe or giv mi deaf.”

I guess so. Carry on then, US America.

talking about violent overthrow of your government while running for office from the Party that made America the shitsack it is today is fucking inexcusable.

It’s also sedition, which under the little-used-but-on-the-books Alien Registration Act of 1940 is a federal crime.

It’s times like this when you wish the Zombie Founders could just show up, tricorn hats and all, and curb-stomp this little puke.

Sadly, they’d never be able to find the Tea Party meetings – nothing to eat there… ;)

Inappropriate is when you throw up in the Japanese Prime Minister’s lap.

@Benedick:

Or give a backrub to the German Chancellor. In Public. In front of cameras.

I’m not sure that the gummit shouldn’t be overthrown. Will there be bipartisan death panels to determine the fates of our various Senatards and Congresspukes?

Of course if there were, then the Demonrats would wholeheartedly agree that every Demoncratic politician should go to the gallows first, you know, in the spirit of compromise.

This guy might have a chance, though. He’s running against Eddie Bernice Johnson, who’s got some corruption charges pending in the House.
