It’s Quite Easy Stealing Green

“Mr. Pearcy and other drifters and homeless people were recruited onto the [Arizona] Green Party ballot by a Republican political operative who freely admits that their candidacies may siphon some support from the Democrats.” [NYT, via Political Wire]

Any neonazi asshole would sign up homeless people to run for office to game voters away from Democrats. It takes a real-life psychopath, however, to run their campaigns for them and coach them in real time at campaign appearances. I full expect to read about this guy May killing, butchering and barbequing these people when the election is over.

Wasn’t candidate Greene (ironically enough) in South Carolina a sort of dry run for this?

@SanFranLefty: Think the Repubs knew that the pron bust would be forthcoming?

He’s a Log Cabin candidate for office and looks like a total bossy bottom.

I am appalled . . . by that kid’s fauxhawk. The rest of it is business as usual.

@Tony Blair Witch Project: And a Mormon.

He was in the state legislature about 10 years ago and kinda faded away after he came out publicly and got kicked out of the service under DADT. Rumor has it he’s been a very bad boy during the lost years. I also heard he had a falling out with his dad over running the family business into the ground.

So naturally, he’s running as a successful business man.

ETA:I should also point out that it’s ridiculously simple to run as a Green. All they had to do was file as a write-in candidate and get one vote in the primary to qualify for the November ballot. One.
