Pat Caddell Crawls Out of His Hole, Sees His Shadow

“Rather than being a unifier, Mr. Obama has divided America on the basis of race, class and partisanship. Moreover, his cynical approach to governance has encouraged his allies to pursue a similar strategy of racially divisive politics on his behalf.” [WSJ]

That entire column is so stupid it drools.

Like we were some sort of racial utopia that was never divided before the Unicorn was elected.

@Signal to Noise: Pat’s certainly not ahead of the curve with this one, but his particular exposition was so jaw-droppingly awful (especially with the Journal’s headline) that I couldn’t ignore it.

Plus, he still trades on being a “Democrat.” Which, if you’ll check your history books, means he was Jimmy Carter’s pollster, and has enjoyed exactly no further relevance in the intervening three decades.

Except on Fox, of course.

@Signal to Noise: Reading the Journal you run into teh stupid a lot. Kind of like Redstate with one crucial difference: The WSJ is boring as well as partisan and flat-out incorrect.

I avoid both, which helps keep my digestion regular.

Pat is a democrat as Dick Morris is a democrat.

@Capt Howdy: Precisely. And their self-identification is what makes them useful to the Murdoch Media Properties. Look! We have Demrats here!

@nojo: Speaking of Democratic losers, wasn’t Geraldine Ferraro one of Fox’s token liberals at one time? I do remember she wrote a complimentary blurb on the back of one of O’Reilly’s books about him being a “liberal conservative or a conservative liberal.”

@rptrcub: Can’t place it precisely, but I think you’re right.

And Pat, well, I have a morbid fascination with him: I don’t think I heard his name once between 1978 and discovering him chatting with Beck last year. (Although Wikipedia sez he was involved with Moonbeam & Monkey Business & Plugz, so I may not have been paying attention.)

Dick Morris, we knew he was slime at the time, and he never entirely disappeared. Pat returned out of nowhere.

@nojo: oh, he’s one of those mystical old-school Dems who takes it upon himself to hate on every current variety.

@ManchuCandidate: exactly! it was a racial utopia because we were still able to ignore the rabble rousers.

@Tommmcat Still Gets Carly Confused With Meg: I find my blood pressure is in much better shape the less I read the editorial pages of any major newspaper.

@Capt Howdy:

Point of of order:

ALL REFERENCES TO DICK MORRIS MUST BE PROCEEDED BY THE APPELLATION “TOE-SUCKER”; I.E. “TOE-SUCKER DICK MORRIS”.

That is all.

@Tommmcat Still Gets Carly Confused With Meg:
why is it a mockery of justice?

I mean:

“He ranked fairly low in the Nazi hierarchy, but he was among the most-wanted suspects because of the large number of Jews he is accused of helping to kill.”

I say better late than never.

@Capt Howdy:

I agree, better late than never, but he lived free for years. Dude is 88.

Think of all the children he killed and how old they would be today. It’s not like they couldn’t have opened a case back then, they just didn’t.

Or “The fucking lying nazi freak, Dick Morris, legend for begging women to face fuck him with their feet. . . “

The bad news is. This Guy (PC) is predicting a meltdown in November and he predicted a loss in NJ and MA. So although we may not agree with his views, but……… I thought we ‘d get and wanted forty years in power. We may not get 40 months.

@Realist Democrat:

Two races don’t make a genius.

Didn’t he say with confidence that Healthcare reform wasn’t going to pass? Yup.

In 2008 Pat predicted that Barry would have a hard time against both Hils and Juan McCain. He was pretty wrong on both accounts.

Any analysis from him has been tainted by the Faux Newz Checks he keeps getting.

Not to say he doesn’t have a point about Dem Weaknesses, but more to say his election analysis should be taken with an iceberg sized grain of salt.

@Realist Democrat: I’m not sure MA and NJ were tough calls, and a GOP House win is both historical and contemporary conventional wisdom.

But heck, I’ll give Pat all three. Either way, the subject of his column is outside his limited competence, and very much beholden to his employer.
