BofA Workers Suing Scummy, Slimy, Evil, Mendacious, Murderous, Scum-Sucking Home-Invading Bank for Overtime Theft

The most hated bank in America is also reviled by everyone who works for it, toiling in excruciating conditions, attempting to keep up with the bank’s horrifically antiquated systems and to stop its fee and penalty schemes from careening out of control and completely destroying customers caught in its programmed snares and bug-infested computing infrastructure, struggling long into the night, every night, without the benefit of overtime pay, according to a suit filed against this scum-sucking piece of shit bank.

Workers for Bank of America Corp, one of the nation’s largest employers, have sued the company for allegedly failing to pay overtime and other wages. The lawsuit filed on Friday in federal court in Kansas City, Kansas, consolidates 12 lawsuits filed on behalf of employees in California, Florida, Kansas, Texas and Washington.

Stinque.com applauds the guts and blood-in-the-eye determination of the bank’s victimized employees to strike back at evil and avarice, to drive their thumbs into the eye sockets of the twisted monster, rip out its eyes and skull fuck it with righteous aplomb in a court of justice.

Hopefully, more Bank of America workers will join the suit, links arms, strike the bank and build barricades in front of every office to keep more Americans from being victimized by this satanic shithouse of a bank.

The suit, announced on June 5, seeks nationwide class-action status on behalf of employees at Bank of America retail branches and call centers over the past three years. Reuters reports:

George Hanson, a lawyer for the plaintiffs, said the case could eventually cover more than 180,000 workers, based on information provided by the bank. That could lead to a recovery in the “hundreds of millions” of dollars, assuming a typical employee was deprived of $1,000 to $2,000 in pay, he said.

According to the 44-page complaint, the largest U.S. bank by assets requires employees to work in excess of eight hours a day or 40 hours a week, yet fails to pay them both for overtime and for all straight time worked.

The complaint also accuses Bank of America of requiring employees to work during unpaid breaks, failing to provide meal and rest breaks, and failing to timely pay terminated employees for earned wages and accrued vacation time.”Bank of America enjoys millions of dollars in ill-gained profits at the expense of its hourly employees,” violating either the federal Fair Labor Standards Act or various state labor laws, the complaint said.

First, tell everyone you know with deposits there to yank every last dime immediately and find another bank.

If you have any influence in a company, for profit or non-profit, demand that the institution immediately yank every last dime in deposits and locate a real bank.

Call your local newspapers, if you are in an area with BofA branches, and demand they cover the suit as a local story.

Don’t walk by a BofA branch without stopping in and announcing you are supporting the workers in their suit and express your wish that everyone will join it and bring the scummy, slimy bank to its knees.

Remember, this is one of the criminal enterprises that fucked America wholesale and sucked on the big TARP tit and delivered billions in bonuses to the criminal fucktards that drove the shithouse bank over the cliff.
