I’ll defer to your judgement, as I don’t know much about the dude. *But* I’ll admit to being bummed that they probably won’t play any more of the Ameriprise ads; everytime I saw those, all I could think of was his character in Blue Velvet yelling, “Let’s FUUUUUCKK!” Not exactly conducive to the message of retirement security. :)

@FlyingChainSaw: @Benedick: I have a soft spot for Hopper ever since sneaking in to a drive-in at the age of 16 and seeing “Easy Rider”; pretty decent directorial debut. But he made me a-skeered in “Blue Velvet”.

Victim of the Hollywood Studio System, even after it was gone; not to mention the fires and floods that plague the helpless people of Malibu.

RIP Dennis. Hope you have a chance at that James Dean ass in whichever afterlife it rests, twitching.
