The beatings and injuries did happen, and we wish the victims a speedy recovery. But sheesh, everyone’s so anxious to point fingers these days. We’re not immune from those instincts, of course, but it’s interesting that we’ve reached a point in our political discourse when everyone accuses the other side of having the bigger thugs.
