Grand Old Perverts

RNC spends $1,946.25 at “Voyeur West Hollywood, a bondage-themed nightclub featuring topless women dancers imitating lesbian sex.” [Daily Caller, via ThinkProgress]

I’m sorry, I’m confused. There are topless women dancers who don’t imitate lesbian sex? Isn’t that like Slutting 101?

I wonder who Steele took with him to the Voyeur?

And: Why does he have to stay at the W Hotel in DC? Doesn’t he LIVE in DC?

I’m sure the RNC missionaries were there only to scold and shout “Cover thy nakedness, Jezebel!” at those depraved, godless strippers.

@SanFranLefty: Why does he have to stay at the W Hotel in DC? Doesn’t he LIVE in DC?

I think we can assume that he indulges in a few things at the W that he can’t indulge in at home.

The important question is why Steele would accept imitation lesbian sex.

@SanFranLefty: No, he parks the strippers at the W Hotel.

I think we should respect Steele for this because he isn’t boffing little boys.

I wonder if the management minds him sniffing the dance poles.

@FlyingChainSaw: Probably costs extra, per the reviews that SFL posted.

Wonderful news! That’s 2 grand that won’t be spent on campaign ads. Keep up the good work, Michael! You’re an American treasure.

@SanFranLefty: If Lindsay Lohan goes there, what could possibly go wrong?

@TJ/ Jamie Sommers /TJ: Alas, they’re getting it back

A California-based political consultant who charged the Republican National Committee nearly $2,000 for a night out at Voyeur — a risque West Hollywood nightclub now at center of the latest controversy surrounding RNC chairman Michael Steele — will return the money to the party, a committee spokesman told CNN Monday.

Is it going to be in the form of 20s shoved down GOP G strings?

@nojo: That California-based political consultant is a rank amateur. Give me an RNC expense account and I’ll show you a real scandal.

@nojo: Yes, they are blaming it on an unapproved after-hours romp by a Republican group called the “Young Eagles,” with the club tab submitted by some dickwad from conservative Orange County, Cal. and approved by the now-fired RNC staffer. The jokes write themselves.
