Tea Baggers Got Death Threats

Make them, that is, against the wonderful cartoonist Mark Fiore:

The death threats keep coming this fine morning.  I guess the Tea Party crew is determined to have “death panels” one way or another.  The dustup started because of this cartoon:

And what caused the orcs of the right to rise up and threaten the ringbearer?

NPR ran the cartoon, the orcs found it, and you know the rest.

Speaking of death threats

As I talked to Johnson in his office, an alert flashed on one of his two giant computer monitors. An angry screed targeting him on another website concluded: “I think a visit to Mr. Johnson’s home might be warranted. Anybody got his address?”

Such veiled threats are at least one reason why Johnson, 56, relocated not long ago. He remains in the Los Angeles area, but now is in a gated community.

The man who once decried vitriol spread on liberal websites now says: “The kinds of hate mail and the kinds of attacks I am getting from the right wing are way beyond anything I got when I was criticizing the left or even radical Islam.”

Charles Johnson, Little Green Footballs.

@nojo: “Only when it is too late, do you finally understand.”

The whole Tea Bag thing was something the Teabaggers walked right into.

Much like selecting CRAP as your organization initials (Conservative Reform Alliance Party) then you earn whatever scorn you deserve.

Personally, I think it’s more the teabaggers doth protest too much. I suspect that many of these guys are the same clowns who fight homosecks and ghey marriage with the same level of vitriol. Why? Me thinks that deep down inside they would love to be teabagged and it scares them to the point that their camo track pants are filled with chicken fried crap.

It would be a lot scarier if these people didn’t need wheelbarrows to cart their bellies around.

@ManchuCandidate:

Had not heard of the “CRAP” issue… WTF?! :)

And speaking of WTF, did anybody catch this? Surely they have at least one staffer there under the age of 60 that could have said something…
