A Slogan For Newt

As Newt Gingrich’s campaign catches fire, and the former Speaker of the House looks set to win the Gold medal at the Iowa Olympics for the Clinically Insane, it’s probably time for him to step up his game and take it to the next level. He’s clearly got the momentum, he’s scrambling for the money, now all he needs is a slogan, something short and sweet that will be as catchy and clever as Sarah Palin’s “Drill Baby, Drill” or Herman Cain’s “Nine, Nine, Nine!”

May I suggest:

Newt Gingrich: Because If Nancy Pelosi Reveals the Dirt She Has On Me She’ll be Breaking the Law.

I can’t think about this. The only thing that keeps me going is the Angry Birds Seasons daily advent updates.

My avatar provides a helpful linque to the 1,280 page ethics report that she was “clearly referring to” per her spokescritter.

Nancy cut her teeth on Baltimore politics. Fuck with her at your own peril.

OWS TJ: My office building will be on lockdown tomorrow so that the proles don’t storm the castle.

@SanFranLefty: I was wondering where she got that move — she expertly baited Newt and reeled him in. Not something you would learn in SF.

@Nojo: don’t get me wrong, politics can be a blood sport in Ess Eff. Wrapped up in political correctness.

But Baltimore is a whole other level.

@SanFranLefty: Hey, I’ve seen The Wire. And John Waters movies.

@nojo: I think I’m going up to Eugene for the lefty enviro conference in a couple months. RML used to hang out there, if I’m not mistaken.

@Dodgerblue: He did, but the law school was on the other side of campus, across from Rennie’s. Now it’s across from Hayward Field. No pubs in sight.

@nojo: That’s odd, because my friends who go there go mainly to hang out and drink beer.

@Dodgerblue: Guess it depends where the events are held. The Knight Law Center (thanks, Phil!) is on the other side of campus from the bars.

Requisite Animal House reference: You know where the ROTC drilled? Across the street from there.

@nojo: Oh, and: That building behind the statue? Now the Knight Library (thanks, Phil!). And a block from the Knight Law Center (thanks, Phil!) is the new Knight Arena (thanks, Phil!).

The University of Oregon campus: A testament to Chinese child labor. Newt would be proud.
