Other Executive Decisions Announced Sunday Night

“While Obama was addressing the nation last night, Donald Trump was hosting a cat-fight between NeNe and Starr Jones, voting off some chick named Hope, and making an ‘historic’ decision to bring back LaToya Jackson.” [Sully]

Vacuous fame whore deciding vacuous decisions.

Bill Kristol:

Mitch Daniels is likely, I’m told, to announce his candidacy for the GOP presidential nomination in the next couple of weeks. Michele Bachmann will, I think, enter the race in June. And it now looks as if Mike Huckabee is also going to run.

Sunday night, 6:07 p.m.

Also, Mittens dropped out of the SC GOP debate this week. Which now might almost be worth liveblogging.

Trump’s decision was manipulative. The dynamic between the Black ladies on Apprentice is explosive. I believe Trump is exploiting this. Star said early on, during a closet video, that NeNe was ignorant and uneducated. NeNe has as much said Star is ‘uppity”. NeNe also called LaToya Jackson “Casper” during an on air argument. NeNe lost the task as manager and yet the Playboy model was let go(she won her task earlier). Gasoline on the fire: LaToya returns.

@texrednface: Of course it is. There was no reason to keep Gary Busey on as long as he did except to exploit the antagonistic relationship between him and the rest of that team. On the other hand, Hope should have been gone a long time ago because she’s never really contributed anything of substance. She ceded her authority to Star when she was PM and has skated by quietly on other tasks. You really can’t look for logic or fairness in that show. It’s best just to enjoy the crazy.

@TJ/ Jamie Sommers /TJ:
I am aware of how the show works. I am suggesting something more devilish in his manipulation of these particular women.

@texrednface: Meh. They’re all media savvy enough to know better than to let some corporate jackass pull their strings unwittingly. They know that confrontation sells. It’s why they were asked to be on this show. All three of them have a history of getting spotlight attention for being engaged in a “feud” with someone else.

Trump:

I want to personally congratulate President Obama and the men women of the Armed Forces for a job very well done. I am so proud to see Americans standing shoulder to shoulder, waving the American flag in celebration of this great victory.

We should spend the next several days not debating party politics, but in remembrance of those who lost their lives on 9/11 and those fighting for our freedom. God Bless America.

Give him credit: That’s a lot classier than a lot of GOP crap out there today.

@TJ/ Jamie Sommers /TJ: Media savvy aside, they don’t edit the show for effect.
