Those brave diplomats can see which way the wind is blowing. Plus, this way they get to stay in NYC and see “Spiderman.”

Libyan ambassador just on BBC – decided to stop supporting Qaddafi after 40 years or so … a brave stand!

This reminds me of a ww2 book I read titled The German Generals Talk, featuring interviews with the Generals that survived both the war and their subsequent captivity. It’s a good read, but it quickly came to mind that there weren’t many German Generals talking when Hitler was still alive. When a finally sober Goering was asked at Nuremberg if there were any dissenters during the war, he answered “not above ground”.
