However, he pissed off the Deadheads by putting the UCSC (Go, Banana Slugs!) Grateful Dead archive on his “Wastebook” (Hi, fb lawyers!) list of wasteful government spending. Mr Cyn is fuming.

Is Dane Cook a successful comedian?

I’m typing his half-brother’s plea hearing from October and I’m stunned by how much money Dane Cook was apparently being paid.

@karen marie doesn’t want to know: Very successful, at least in terms of the biz.

Silent Creative Partner likes him. And honestly, I like him too, especially his delivery. But he has a Very Bad Rep among his colleagues. Something about Joke Theft.

@Mistress Cynica: Yes, as soon as I saw Mr. Cyn’s posting about that on the Book of Faces this morning, I forwarded it to Mr. SFL. Since Coburn’s declared war on the LadyBits since like forever, I told him now he gets to see what the wimminz feel like being under Coburn’s siege.

@karen marie doesn’t want to know: Comedian and actor (he was in “Employee of the Month” with J. Simps), though I’ve never actually watched him do either.

@mellbell: Filmed in Santa Fe. It was Big News when Gov. Bill “They Call Me the Squanderer” Richardson had Miss Simpson for dinner at the Governor’s “Mansion” while EOM was shooting. People Magazine, etc. Son of RML and his friends like that movie, Dan Cook and Miss Simpson’s “screen presence.”

@redmanlaw: Is that what they’re calling it these days?
