It’s a couple hundred miles away near Yosemite. (for now)

The reason Moonbeam included Ess Eff in the proclamation is because 85% of the water supply for our city and part of the San Mateo peninsula and most of our electricity is generated through the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir, on the Tuolumne River.

But I always appreciate well-wishes! :)

@JNOV: 5:01 pm vodka martini is in my hand.

I am terrible because I owe you a call. It’s crazeetown right now with me. Will try tomorrow or Wednesday when I’m back from a trip.

‘Yosemight’? Really? Fucking Limey. Yes and Jook of Edinburg. Of how funny are the moron Americans.

Hope you keep power.

@Benedick: weren’t your people the discoverers of aluminium?

Like anybody drinks tap water in SF.

Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscle
I said, “Do you speak-a my language?”
He just smiled and gave me a Yosemite sandwich
And he said…

everybody together now

I come from a land down under!

@blogenfreude: That’s Al-Lou-Men-E-Um to you, kiddo.

@Serolf Divad: Damn you and your ear worm! You can dance if you want to…

@nojo: Obviously you haven’t been to Ess Eff in a while – one-off water bottles are socially unacceptable and are THIS.CLOSE to being outlawed. It’s all about filling up your aluminum water bottles with clear delicious Hetch Hetchy water.

CNN reporting that ash is starting to fall on the Hetch Hetchy reservoir. Shit.

@SanFranLefty: Okay, fine, if SF wants to politically correctly slake its thirst by desecrating a national park, no argument here.
