I think Dick “DICK” Cheney is right. It was the best thing he deliberately did.

Unlike Iraq and the Deficit and pretty much everything else he did including fire arms safety (although it was off the chart on the comedy scale.)

Exactly – the *apology* is the key part. Anybody can shoot their buddy in the face, but only Darth Cheney could get them to feel sorry about it.
