The Wall Streeters almost wet themselves laughing at Obama’s speech today, in which he asked them nicely not to be such greedy, rapacious financiopaths. Then they called up their puppets in Congress and ordered them to cancel Medicare, Social Security and the VA hospital system and pay them $50 bajillion dollar bonuses. Congress approved the legislation within hours, plenty of time to get home for Leno. The End.

The problem is that they tried that with W when they wanted Social Securities monies. Didn’t work out so well for them.

BoA might not get it, but the fact that their little sweet heart deal got squashed is a tiny victory (victories have been few and far between.) Who knows, it MIGHT lead to bigger and better things.

@SanFranLefty: Mr Cyn caught BofA charging him two $35 overdraft fees when he had the money to cover the drafts in his account. He called, and they said “oops” and removed the charges. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re charging customers with low balances overdraft fees arbitrarily, figuring most of them will figure they might have cut it too close to the line and accidentally overdrew the account.
