I once cat sat for a friend of mine. I fell on the floor laughing when I watched the 15-20 pound (?) fat one try to jump onto the TV and then slid right off. She got her revenge by jumping on my stomach as I slept that evening.

@Mistress Cynica: @Tommmcatt May Just Have Some MJ In His System As Well, So What?: :-) Thank you for asking. He’s fine. He’s in Philly but can’t get back to NJ until the trains are running. The school opens to residents tomorrow evening. Not sure when classes start; they should build some time into the schedule for students who can’t get back. I’ve been hair on fire since Friday. I think I’ll sleep tonight.

Speaking of Jersey Shore, anyone hear from Prommie?

@SanFranLefty: Don’t know about my family, but Jr. is working on getting back. The buses will take him only so far, but because the school is in the Pine Barrens and not too far from the west side of the bay, they must be in pretty good shape w/r/t flooding and downed trees. They have pipes under the parking lots to heat water that drives turbines that heat and cool the school, and they have solar panels all over the place, not that there’s been a whole lot of sun… I’ll be most relieved when he makes it back, because I had a rough time driving from Philly to AC after Irene.

No word from Prom. His island was hit the worst.
