I heard this on the news. It was immediately followed by news of the passing of Weekly Reader.

Interesting note: apparently he never married, nor had children. Basically nothing is known about his private life. The inSINuation (from ACT Up in the 90s) being that he had the gay. Until that is confirmed however, we’ll just have the memories of his most famous character being unfair, short, with no hair.
