@JNOV: I think they’ll add (some) syncing to Snow Leopard sooner or later, if they haven’t already. And Snow Leopard’s a reasonable upgrade in itself, especially since Apple tends not to maintain systems a couple versions back.

As it happens, I upgraded the MomBook from Leopard to Snow Leopard a week ago. Or NojoBro did, since he was in town for a football game. I ordered the disk in advance.

@nojo: Oy. If I had the cash to shell out, I’d do so now. Waiting to hear about new J-O-B, so I might get double upgrade in the near future, but not ’till Jr.’s tuition is paid.

@All: Jr. is still waffling between liberal arts and computer science, but his school is primarily a liberal arts school. We’re talking about him transferring (in his sophomore year right now). Any suggestions on places to consider (preferably small)?
