@Mistress Cynica: I don’t think they’d wait that long. The 112th Congress first meets on January 3, 2011, so I think they’d do it just in time for Martin Luther King’s birthday (hell, maybe they can get rid of MLK Day as a federal holiday in their first two weeks). January 14, 2011 is my guess.
