@SanFranLefty: still have the one you sent me – will pull it out (again) tomorrow. Right now we’re showing the cats “A New Hope” … they slept through Ep1 but were surprisingly interested in “Revenge of the Sith”.

She makes about as much sense as Sarah Palin, but she does have that patrician ahk-scent, which makes it all better.

@nojo: turns out the blu ray set we bought has the hated “No, Noooooo” addition when the Emperor is trying to kill Luke (spoilers). It’s not as awful as I thought it would be, but it’s still fucking around with something that was a near-perfect movie (Ewoks aside). On the other hand, as Kevin Smith often points out, it belongs (belonged) to Lucas, and he can do what he wants with it.
