Zzyzx is in California, not Nevada, and I don’t think it really qualifies as a town/city. It’s more of a freeway exit to nowhere. A jump out & pee by the side of the road site.

In fact, it’s only a couple of miles away from the Sarlacc’s lair in Tatooine’s Dune Sea.
