Mitt Romney Wasn’t the Right Height

“Romney recalled he was ‘probably 4 or something like that’ the day of the Golden Jubilee, when three-quarters of a million people gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the American automobile… And it took place June 1, 1946 — fully nine months before Romney was born.” [Toronto Star]

At least Ronald Reagan had the decency to become senile before projecting himself into historical events he never witnessed.

Please allow me to introduce myself
I’m a man of wealth and taste
I’ve been around for seven long years
Converted many a man’s soul and faith

And I was ’round when General Motors
Had their moment of triumph and so vain
As an ache in my dad’s testes
Celebrated US America’s interstates

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what’s puzzling you
Is the phoniness of my campaign

I stuck around Washington
When I saw it was a time for a change
Shook hands with MLK and his ministers
From Paris without a plane

I bought some swank
Made CEO’s bank
When the Vultures raged
And real companies sank

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name, oh yeah
Ah, what’s puzzling you
Is the nature of my campaign, oh yeah
(woo woo, woo woo)
