Thinking I was taking out a Graham Greene novel from the library, I ended up with a book called Man With One Talent by Josiah E. Greene, published in 1951.

Way back then Josiah recognized Republicans for what they are — fascists, who prey on discontent to destroy any challenge to their financial and political control.

They have been successful so far, and I see no indication that will change.
