@Original Andrew: I read that too. And it doesn't make sense that Tillman (or anyone else for that matter) would make that kind of a statment when bullets are flying all around you. Also, I'm all for letting the KY jellies depend on God for their homeland security. Now that they've decided to depend on God, Janet can give all that money to the godless states that prefer to depend on cops and guns and whatnot.

@ManchuCandidate: Didn’t the late US Army Ranger/NFL star Eric Tillman yell something about “Your god won’t save you so shoot your fucking gun!” Actually, no. The priest assigned to counsel the soldiers in Tillman's unit completely made that up. Can't remember the name (and don't have time to Google), but the soldier in the incident with Tillman testified that he never said that. His last words were something along the lines of "stop firing, I'm Pat Tillman dammit..." before his unit blew him away.
